Listen to the episode below!
Public speaking is a skill that hasn’t come naturally to me up until now. Although I was a confident writer growing up, I always dreaded presenting.
For a while, I thought I was just a bad speaker… but then I watched one of my Instagram live streams back and immediately knew what the issue was.
I wasn’t grounded in the present as I was speaking. I wasn’t engaging with the audience because my mind was in a different world.
I knew something had to change. So, I taught myself grounding techniques to use during presentations to ensure my mind is focusing on the present moment instead of wandering off into the distance.
Tune in to this podcast episode to learn how to be more present when you’re presenting. I hope this helps you with your future speaking gigs!
