10 Law of Attraction Journal Prompts to Manifest Your Desires!

Journaling is a powerful activity that puts the law of attraction into motion. Grab a journal and get ready to manifest your desires!

When I first heard about the “law of attraction,” I didn’t think it was real. But as I educated myself more about the subject, it started to make perfect sense to me.

Lately, I’ve been getting more in touch with my spiritual side. The stronger my connection to the universe becomes, the more at ease I feel with my life overall.

Like everyone, I’ve faced difficult challenges in my life. I’ve come close to giving up. Even though my life might look perfect on Instagram, I’ve been fighting internal battles for years. I couldn’t make peace with myself.

Earlier this year, I got hurt by someone I love. He said and did some things that made me feel insignificant. I won’t go into detail, but if you’ve ever been in a relationship with a manipulative person, you’ll understand how I feel.

I’ve spent the past few months trying to heal, and I found inner peace within my spirituality. I’m learning more about the law of attraction every day, and I can’t wait to share more of my spiritual journey with you.

Journaling is a powerful activity that will help you manifest your desires. I loved journaling even before I connected with my spiritual side. When you write in a journal, it helps you reflect on your thoughts and feelings.

Ultimately, journaling helps you interpret situations in an objective way. Then, you can make better decisions. With the right prompts, you can use your journal to set powerful intentions and manifest your dreams into reality!

Today, I want to share 10 journal prompts that will help you put the law of attraction into action! Write one of these prompts every day and see how your life changes.

1. “Visualize your dream life.”

Visualization is when you create a mental picture of everything you want to have in life. It tells the universe that you want to attract those things.

With visualization, you will be more focused on your goals, and you’ll feel motivated to achieve them. For manifestation to work, you need clarity, focus, and intention. Visualizing your goals will help you clarify what you want out of life, and then the law of attraction can work its magic!

Journaling is the perfect medium to use if you want to visualize your goals. Try making a list of the things you want to have in your dream life. Shift your focus away from material things, and instead focus on feelings.

It’s okay if material things are part of what you want to manifest, but the way you feel is more important. Thoughts and feelings become things.

For example, let’s say you want to manifest a really big house. Think about how you’ll feel once you acquire your perfect mansion. Will you feel successful? Proud of yourself? At home?

So, if you include material items in your visualization journal entry, make sure you also write about how you’ll feel once you acquire those things.

Once you’re done, ask yourself, “Is it possible to feel this way right now, before I acquire my big house/nice car/expensive purse/other material item?”

If you want to strengthen your visualization muscle even more, try making a vision board!

2. “What do you want to manifest? Be specific.”

Focus is powerful. By being very specific about what you want to manifest, you’ll be able to set intentions that align with your aspirations. And then, with those strong intentions in place, you’ll feel intrinsic motivation to take action to achieve your goals.

So, get out your journal and write about what you want to manifest in the most specific terms possible.

When you’re writing, try to focus on the feeling you want to experience rather than the accomplishment or material thing itself. If you want to manifest a Lamborghini or your dream career, visualize how those things will make you feel.

At the end of the day, your goal is to manifest feelings because they go deeper than the things that exist in the physical realm.

3. “Set an intention for the day, week, month, or year.”

Speaking of intentions, it’s important to set them regularly. Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly intentions will keep you on the right path to achieve your goals.

Intention setting goes perfectly with journaling because every intention becomes more powerful when you write it down. Plus, you’ll be able to track your intentions and measure your progress if you have them recorded in your journal.

I would recommend writing each intention in the format, “I intend to…” and then set a deadline for each one.

BTW, the deadlines are supposed to motivate you, not stress you out! When you create a new intention and give it a time frame or deadline, you put the law of attraction into motion.

I actually wrote a post on how to set powerful intentions that manifest, so check it out for more info!

4. “Write down your wins from the previous day, week, month, or year.”

If you’ve been feeling unmotivated lately, try writing down your recent wins!

Big or small, every accomplishment is worth celebrating. When you write in your journal and recognize your accomplishments, it’s like you’re saying “thank you” to the universe for bringing success into your life.

Remember, the law attraction won’t work if you make demands of the universe without being grateful of what it’s already given you.

So, celebrate the praise you got from your boss.

Celebrate the A you got on your test.

Celebrate the fact that you saved money on your electric bill this month.

If you show gratitude for the little wins the universe has gifted you, bigger wins will come!

5. “Write an empowering affirmation to create a positive mindset for today.”

Affirmations are statements you can use to reframe negative thoughts and shift into a positive mindset.

On top of that, affirmations strengthen your sense of self and make you more resilient when faced with a challenge.

If you have a busy day ahead and you don’t have a lot of time for journaling, simply write a positive affirmation down in your journal.

It can be anything, as long as it empowers you to show up as your best self.

Examples of affirmations include:
  1. I am beautiful.
  2. I am strong enough to make it through this day.
  3. I am worthy of all the opportunities that come my way.

6. “Write 10 things you’re grateful for.”

This journal prompt is especially helpful on bad days. When you’re losing hope and everything seems to be going wrong, gratitude will help you snap back into a positive mindset.

I love making lists of things I’m grateful for because it reminds me of how much I have. For example, in the middle of a pandemic, my health is something I can ALWAYS be grateful for.

And then when I realize how fortunate I am, I feel like I shouldn’t complain about anything ever. My whole mindset changes. Making a gratitude list instantly boosts my mood and makes me feel more content with my life.

If you’re going through a tough time in life, it’s natural to feel like your life sucks… but just make a list of things you’re grateful for, and it will help you see the beauty in your world.

7. “Which positive habits do you need to form to achieve your dream life?”

I’ve always said that “mindset is ALMOST everything.” Your thoughts create your reality, but so do your actions. Your mindset will guide you to take the necessary actions for your intentions to manifest.

Habits are fundamental building blocks for a healthy and successful life. If your actions are kind of willy-nilly and you don’t have any habits in place, it will take you much longer to achieve your goals.

If you feel stuck in life, I suggest you try this journal prompt… try to determine which habits, or building blocks, you need to construct your dream life.

Think about it for a few minutes, and then write out your ideas. Once you’ve figured out which habits are most important for you to implement, then you can form a concrete plan to incorporate those actions into your routine.

Remember, awareness is the first step to achieving anything. This journal prompt will clarify your goals and help you pave a path to reach them.

8. “Which negative habits do you need to break?”

Positive habits will skyrocket your progress, but negative habits will stunt your growth.

For example, if long-term health is one of your goals, regular exercise and a healthy diet will help you sustain your health for years to come. However, smoking cigarettes will damage your health.

Which negative habits are holding you back in life? There are some that you might not even be aware of. That’s why this journal prompt is important—it will open up an honest conversation with yourself about habits.

Maybe you procrastinate often, which leads to stress and low quality of work. Or maybe you sit on the couch and eat whole bags of chips at a time when you’re bored. (I’ve done both of these before!)

When you’re writing your thoughts for this prompt, just be 100 percent transparent. Don’t be ashamed of anything. Instead, praise yourself for taking the first step to improve your lifestyle.

If you can be honest with yourself about your negative habits, you’ll be able to form an actionable plan to break them!

9. “Which limiting beliefs do you need to overcome?”

If you allow limiting beliefs to thrive inside your head, they’ll prevent you from manifesting the things you want… so let’s crush those little suckers!

A few common limiting beliefs are:
  1. I don’t deserve to be loved.
  2. My goals are impossible to achieve.
  3. I’ll never have enough money.

Once you identify the limiting beliefs that are holding you back, try to reframe them in your journal entry. Here are examples of the above beliefs reframed:

  1. I am deserving of love.
  2. I will achieve my goals.
  3. I will make lots of money.

Write the positive statements down, and write them every day until you start to believe them.

If you notice a limiting belief coming back into your conscious thoughts, question it. Refute it with the opposite positive statement. And then, put it to rest. Don’t give the limiting belief any more of your attention.

When you focus on the positive, you’ll attract positivity. When you focus on your goals, you’ll attract success… notice a pattern here?

10. “Consume a piece of motivational content and write about how it made you feel.”

I can’t stress how important it is to consume content that benefits you.

While I was eating breakfast this morning, I turned on 90 Day Fiance. I’m not a big reality TV person, but I’ll be honest—the drama sucks me in sometimes.

As I was watching it, I started to think… how is this beneficial for me? Is it improving my mindset or teaching me something new?

The answer was no. So, I made the conscious decision to get off Hulu and do something else.

Then, I got on YouTube and started watching videos about the law of attraction and how to manifest opportunities into your life. Since I’ve been writing articles about spirituality lately, I like to dive deep into my studies on manifestation.

The law of attraction videos were much more valuable to me than 90 Day Fiance. Instead of getting invested in the fabricated lives of others, I chose to consume educational content.

The books you read, shows you watch, and music you listen to have a direct impact on your thoughts and feelings, even if you don’t realize it. That’s why it’s important to balance your media diet and monitor the types of content you consume.

One fun way to do this is to consume a piece of content that is motivational, inspirational, or beneficial in some way. Then, journal about it!

Journaling will help you reflect upon the information you’re taking in, and it will encourage you to think critically about things you read, see, or hear.
