Do you adjust your skincare routine for each season? I rotate through different products each year depending on my skin’s needs.
I currently live in South Florida, so it’s pretty much summer year-round. Even though it’s hot and humid outside, my skin is always DRY. If I don’t keep my skin properly moisturized, I get these huge dry patches that look horrendous and make it impossible to wear makeup without looking crazy.
I’ve tested many different skincare products to find the ones that are best for my skin type. Today, I’m going to share the products that I use every day to keep my skin looking plump and hydrated.
The products in this post are pricey, but I think investing in great skincare products is wise because it preserves the longevity of your skin. If you have extra money to spend on beauty products, skincare is absolutely the best investment to make.

Here are my three favorite skincare products for dry skin:
1. Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream
Daily moisturizer for dry skin
The Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream feels like heaven on my skin every time I put it on! I tried it for the first time when I was browsing in Sephora. I didn’t know about the brand beforehand. When I tested this on my hand, it felt so good that I couldn’t not buy it!
When you apply it, it makes your skin feel cool and refreshed. I’ve used it for months now, and I can visibly see an improvement in my skin! My skin looks brighter and clearer. I almost never break out anymore. I used to have some redness and irritation along my jawline, and I think this product has helped to reduce that. Overall, my skin looks more even and youthful.
This is a must-have if you have dry skin and you’re looking to upgrade your moisturizer!

2. Tatcha The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream
For many years, I didn’t use an eye cream because I didn’t understand why it’s important. But trust me, I can’t go without eye cream now! Generally, we start aging around the eyes before other parts of the face. That’s why I think it’s important to find a great eye cream to use, regardless of your age! I wish I would have started using one when I was 16.
I’ve been loving the Tatcha Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream lately. I use it every single day. The product comes in a small package, but a little goes a long way. I dip my finger in the container to get a tiny bit of balm on it, and then I gently sweep it across my under eye area to the side of my eye. I finish by blending the rest of the product onto my eyelid. This moisturizes my whole eye area and preps my lid for eye makeup.
If you give this one a try, let me know what you think!

3. Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream
Night cream for dry skin
This night cream is my savior from irritation! I used to wake up every morning with dry, red, and fussy skin. Then, I discovered the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream. This ultra-hydrating night cream helps your skin to repair overnight so you can wake up looking and feeling refreshed. Because we spend so much time sleeping, it’s important to use a night cream to protect and hydrate our skin while we snooze.
First of all, this product smells delicious. It reminds me of tropical island fruits. Applying it makes me feel like I’m on vacation! (However, the scent is pretty strong, so you might want to go with a different product if you hate fruit.)
As soon as I apply this product, I can already feel it starting to work. It’s super moisturizing, and the texture feels mostly creamy, but a tad bit greasy (which I don’t mind THAT much, since my skin is dry all the time). This night cream is supposedly for all skin types, but I think it’s definitely better for dry or combination skin. It provides heavy-duty hydration. If you have oily skin, you might want to opt for a night cream that is lighter and less intensive.
If you struggle with dry patches and irritation in the morning, definitely give this night cream a try and see the difference it makes!
